With Hook, Line and Sinker Keith Porter has taken a classic effect and added some beautiful subtleties and with a unique combination of methods has created not only an interactive and fun routine but one that’s extremely baffling!

Your spectator is handed approximately half of the deck. They shuffle their half and you shuffle yours.

You both cut your cards in to two piles and place them on the table in front of you. Your spectator now selects a card from either one of his piles, places it into any one of your piles and shuffles your piles together.

The magicians deck is now recut and the spectator choices any of his and your pile to be turned face up. The face up piles are switched and shuffled into the face down piles. This process happens a few times until there is a random pile of face up and face down cards.

Your spectator is asked to separate the cards in to a face up and face down pile and then reassemble the deck.

Now without ANY fishing at all you can tell which card they selected and what position it’s in! Catching your spectator Hook, Line and Sinker!
